      In addition to the RMB5 million grant obtained from the Wuhan City Science & Technology Bureau, Asia Water Technology Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “the Group”) is pleased to announce that we have been further awarded a research funding of RMB3 million by the People’s Republic of China’s Science & Technology Bureau.  Provided under the PRC’s National High-Technology Research and Development Program (Plan 863),  this Research Grant of RMB3 million forms part of a RMB8 million research project initiated by Wuhan Kaidi Water Services Co., Ltd. With the initial support of the Wuhan City Science and Technology Bureau’s one-time research grant of RMB5 million, this Research Grant of RMB3 million from the PRC’s Science and Technology Bureau forms the remaining budget required.

 

     This research project, titled “Dynamic Cyclic Active Sludge” or “DCAS” focuses on both the developing and application of a patent for an in-house wastewater treatment technology using the biochemical approach. Upon successful registration of the patent, the Group will be able to apply this technology to selected municipal wastewater treatment projects in future.
