The Company Awarded RMB5million Research Funding
The company has been awarded a research funding of RMB5 million by the Wuhan City Science & Technology Bureau.
This research project, titled "Dynamic Cyclic Active Sludge" or "DCAS" focuses on both the developing and application of a patent for an in-house wastewater treatment technology using the biochemical approach. This Research Project is conducted in collaboration with Hua Zhong Technological University, Wuhan Gelin Tiandi Environment Group Co., Ltd. and Wuhan Kaidi Equipment Co., Ltd., who will provide assistance and advice to the Group. Upon successful registration of the patent, the Group will be able to apply this technology to selected municipal wastewater treatment projects in future.
This research grant of RMB5 million forms part of a RMB 8 million research project initiated by Wuhan Kaidi Water Services Co., Ltd. ("Kaidi Water"). In support of our initiative to develop our in-house wastewater treatment technology, the Wuhan City Science and Technology Bureau has awarded a one-time research grant of RMB5 million. The full amount of the grant is expected to be remitted to Kaidi Water by the end of June 2005.
This Research Project has commenced and is expected to be completed by July 2006.
